About the role
LonAdd is building the hiring platform Ethiopian employers actually use day to day — job posting, candidate pipelines, interview scheduling and offers, all white-labelled per employer. Design owns whether that feels like relief or like more admin.
You'll lead end-to-end design across both sides of the product: the recruiter's workspace and the candidate's experience of applying and hearing back. This is a senior, hands-on role — you'll do the research, the flows and the final interface, and you'll be the person who says no to the feature that would make the pipeline board unreadable.
What you'll do
- Own design for one or two product areas end to end — from problem framing through shipped, polished UI
- Talk to recruiters and hiring managers regularly, and turn what you hear into concrete design decisions
- Extend our white-label design system so every employer's brand looks deliberate, not skinned
- Prototype the hard interactions — the kanban pipeline, bulk actions, the apply form — before we build them
- Pair with engineers through implementation and hold the line on the details that get dropped under deadline
Who you'll work with
You'll report to the Head of Product and work alongside two engineers and a UX researcher. We're small enough that your work ships within weeks, and visible enough that you'll see it in front of real hiring teams.
How we work
